The New Year, 2018, and the Train Keeps Rolling

So, the new year is upon us, and well past. The film work keeps going. There's a lot to say about current, and upcoming events, so buckle up.

The last few months of 2017 were super busy, with filming numerous projects. That means that the next few months should see a lot of new projects pop up. I'll try and give a run down here, but undoubtedly, I'll miss something.

First, "Brainfood Reviewed" is still going. We have had great fun dressing up as zombies, watching zombie movies, and reviewing those same movies. To date, we have released 15 episodes, including a special Christmas episode. Our current episode is out there on the Wages of Cine YouTube page for one and all to see: "Brainfood Reviewed: Cabin in the Woods and Bite Me." Don't miss out on spending a little time with Onslow the Undead, and Melee, the Mostly Dead Mail Lady.

Second, Poison Peach X, the tenth annual appearance of the Poison Peach Film Festival in Augusta, Georgia, happened the first week of January, 2018. I was the presenter on Friday night, when a feature production, "Arte Factum: Legends" premiered. It is an anthology of short films, and I had the pleasure of writing/directing one of them, "Incubation Period." Eight other directors contributed short films to this feature, as well. Look forward to seeing this made available on DVD in the near future. The IMDb page is provided below.

Another feature, which made its debut on Saturday night at the Poison Peach Film Festival, was "Old Man of the Rooks." This film was made in chapters, by 12 different writer/directors. I was privileged to be one of those writer/directors, creating Chapter 11 of this year-long project. This feature will also be made available on DVD in the near future. The IMDb page is provided below.

Third, speaking of things appearing on DVD in the near future, I have been working with Wages of Cine to put together a program of horror convention appearances. These appearances will be to promote Wages of Cine, and make Wages of Cine materials available to the public for the first time. The above-mentioned features, "Arte Factum: Legends" and "Old Man of the Rooks" will be available. Also, Wages of Cine's 2016 project will be available on DVD, and a super secret squirrel project will also have its world debut.

Finally, there are a few other projects coming out in the near future. One, coming in April 2018 is a video game. I provided some voice work for the upcoming game, "The Cold Case of Noella Bejerot." It looks to be a great game, and is currently in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign. As of now, there are 7 days left to contribute. The Kickstarter page is below.

I was also honored to be asked to be part of Karlton Clay's upcoming web series, "Sweet Mahogany." For details on when this series makes its appearance, and to keep up with Karlton's other web series, follow Victory Productions. Victory Production Network's Facebook page is below.

Whew! That's a lot. And who knows what else lies on the horizon. Here's to a great year, 2018, may everyone have lots of success.
